This policy explains what personal data First Team collects, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to this website, to our mobile app and to every order placed with us.

Effective date: November 1, 2026

Information we collect

  • Details you give us: your name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping addresses, and the name and number you ask us to print.
  • Order details: what you bought, when, how much you paid and where it was delivered.
  • Payment details: your payment is processed by our payment providers. Card details are never stored on our servers.
  • Messages: what you send us when you contact us, including photos.
  • Browsing data: your IP address, device and browser type, the pages and products you view, what you add to your cart, and how you move through the site (clicks, scrolling and mouse movements), collected through cookies and similar technologies.

How we use it

  • To prepare and deliver your order and send you order and shipping updates.
  • To answer your questions and handle returns, exchanges, refunds and payment disputes.
  • To send you offers by email and app notification. You can opt out at any time.
  • To measure and improve our website, and to show and measure our ads on other websites and apps.

Who we share it with

We share personal data with the companies that help us run the store:

  • Shopify, which runs our website, checkout and customer accounts.
  • Payment providers, to process your payment and prevent fraud.
  • Fulfillment partners and carriers, who receive your name, address, phone number and order details to prepare and deliver your order.
  • Email and app notification providers, to send you order updates and offers.
  • Customer support and payment dispute tools, to answer you and to respond to disputes.
  • Analytics providers: Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity.
  • Advertising partners: Google, Meta, TikTok and Microsoft.

We may also disclose personal data when the law requires it or to defend a legal claim.

We do not sell your personal information for money. Sharing data with advertising partners so they can show you ads based on your activity on different websites may be considered a "sale", "sharing" or "targeted advertising" under some US state privacy laws. You can opt out on our Your Privacy Choices page.

Analytics and session replay

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website. See How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

We partner with Microsoft Clarity and Microsoft Advertising to capture how you use and interact with our website through behavioral metrics, heatmaps, and session replay to improve and market our products. Website usage data is captured using first and third-party cookies and other tracking technologies to determine the popularity of products and online activity. Additionally, we use this information for site optimization, fraud/security purposes, and advertising. For more information about how Microsoft collects and uses your data, visit the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

Cookies and tracking

We and the partners listed above use cookies, pixels and similar technologies to run the website and remember your cart, to measure how the site is used, and to show and measure ads. A notice at the bottom of the page tells you this on your first visit. These technologies are active by default.

You can change this at any time:

  • Your browser: block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
  • Your Privacy Choices: depending on where you live, you can opt out of the sharing of your data for targeted advertising on our Your Privacy Choices page.
  • Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends this signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. Our website does not respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals.

The analytics and advertising partners listed above may collect information about your online activity over time and across different websites when you use our website.

Marketing messages

Every marketing email we send has an unsubscribe link, and we stop within 10 business days of your request (CAN-SPAM Act, 15 U.S.C. § 7704). You can turn off app notifications in your phone's settings at any time. Order and shipping emails are not marketing: we send them with every order.

Where your data is processed

First Team is operated from the United States. We, our service providers and our fulfillment partners process personal data in the United States and in other countries, whose data protection laws may differ from the laws of the country where you live.

How long we keep it

We keep your personal data for as long as we need it to deliver your order and to handle returns, exchanges, refunds and disputes, and for as long as tax and accounting laws require us to keep records of the sale. You can ask us to delete your data at any time, as explained below.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to:

  • tell you what personal data we hold about you and send you a copy
  • correct it
  • delete it
  • stop sending you marketing

To make a request, email contact@firstteamofc.com with the subject line "Privacy request". We will verify your identity before we act and answer within one month. We will not treat you differently for exercising these rights. We may need to keep some data where the law requires it, such as records of your order.

If you live in the European Union or the United Kingdom

You also have the right to restrict or object to our use of your data, to receive your data in a portable format, and to withdraw your consent at any time (in the EU, Regulation (EU) 2016/679, Articles 7(3) and 15 to 22; in the UK, the UK GDPR, Articles 7(3) and 15 to 21). We answer requests within one month (in the EU, Article 12(3); in the UK, Articles 12(3) and 12A).

We use your personal data on these legal bases (in the EU and in the UK, Article 6(1)): to perform our contract with you when you order; to comply with our legal obligations, such as tax and accounting records; for our legitimate interests in running, protecting, measuring and promoting our store; and with your consent, where we ask for it.

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection authority of your country (in the EU, Article 77). In the UK, you can make a complaint to us and to the UK data protection regulator (Data Protection Act 2018, sections 164A and 165; UK GDPR, Article 13(2)).

If you live in California

You may request to know what personal information we have collected about you and how it has been used or shared, request that we delete it, request that we correct it, and opt out of any sale or sharing of your personal information. This policy includes the information required by the California Online Privacy Protection Act (Cal. Bus. & Prof. Code § 22575).
